Artist,
Naturalist, & EcoTour Guide
I am passionate about reconnecting people with nature through immersive, intuitive art experiences.
For much of my life, I have led nature and art classes, eco-tours, and workshops. I’ve guided kayakers and paddle-boarders through Florida’s mangrove forests, and led backpacking and wilderness survival courses in the Appalachian and Teton Mountains with organizations like Outward Bound, NOLS, and the Wildcat Mountain Wilderness Center.
My love for the Earth began early. At eight years old, I was taken to the police station for standing in front of a bulldozer to protect a forest from being torn down for a mall. Since then, I have marched for the environment, spoken with politicians and reporters, and witnessed the ongoing challenges our planet faces.
Today, I see a hunger for simplicity, a cleaner world, and genuine connection. Through my art and my love of nature, I hope to help others rediscover these essentials. This is what I have to offer—a chance to reconnect, to heal, and to bring grace and kindness back to our lives and to our world.
Art has always been a part of my story—both by education and by heritage. I studied at The School of Visual Arts in New York City, but my earliest and most meaningful lessons began at my mother’s side. Together, we sketched and painted wherever our journeys took us. Some of my dearest memories are of us picnicking by streams, capturing the beauty of wild plants with our pencils and brushes. My mother taught me to notice the subtle purples in a winter field and to see the world through an artist’s eyes.
Creativity runs deep in my family, especially among the women. My great-grandmother was an artist, though she set aside her passion to raise her family. My grandmother, accepted to Cooper Union—then the pinnacle of art schools—was discouraged from pursuing her dreams. My mother, too, attended art school and was offered a top position at Hallmark, but chose instead to devote herself to family. Despite this, I watched her create every day, her restless spirit always seeking expression.
My intention is to break this cycle of unfulfilled dreams. In a world that often feels uncertain, I believe in rising above limitations and sharing the magic of creativity with others.
Let’s create something beautiful together.
