We all have places where we do not want to go, yet we know this is where the healing occurs. Art can make those places less scary. Art can give you the courage to face your fears and process them so that you can get return to living your best life.
Carl Jung once said,
“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light,
but by making the darkness conscious.
In order to know the light, we must first experience the darkness.”
My hope is, that through the art process, we can face the parts of ourselves that are in need of healing and bring them to the light where we can
see them, meet them, heal them, and no longer let them control us.
As we all know, life is a continual process of healing and exploration. No pressure, if your gremlin doesn’t reveal itself right away, at least you can begin the journey OR just have fun with art.
